Ten Hill Place - Edinburgh

Just a fine choice for a whistle-stop in Edinburgh with a great value-to-price ratio. Breakfast was amazing, really a highlight of the stay. Make sure to try the local breakfast options!

Peaceful and immaculately clean hotel with attentive staff and beautiful views of the sea.

Room was reasonably priced and reasonably clean.

The rooms for clothes in bedroom. Had excellent a good hairdryer, a lounge and thick blackout curtains. Amazing stunning location, close to the city centre.

Everything is good, great value, bright hotel overall. The double room is silent and spotless. Exceptional service, the breakfast is tasty and enormous. Parking is onsite. The location is decent, within walking distance of Co-op Food. ...  

Modern, clean, helpful staff, good it facilities, excellent breakfast and a basic menu available much of the time, good information file in the room.

Marked the comfort down as 'fair' because we had booked a double 'de luxe' room which turned out to be only really suitable as a single room. Necessary to move around it sideways between the cramped furnishings. Difficult to know how one would go about finding out about the specific room when booking on line. Would use the hotel again but only by direct booking with firm information about the room. This difficulty is why we could only recommend it with reservations.

The hotel was impeccably clean with a trendy restaurant. The staff were very caring, ready to any request. The breakfast was savoury and enormous with black pudding and also porridge, worth the price. The location was excellent in the...  

Room was very comfortable, if small. Good distance from local attractions. We got a good price for our room.

Hotel staff weren't overly friendly, particularly wait staff in restaurant- it was difficult to make eye contact to ask for tea / coffee etc. The location was good in terms of close to the city centre and sights of Edinburgh, however it was a very seedy part of town: didn't feel completely safe walking to or from the hotel. Breakfast was far too expensive for what was on offer, and not of very high quality. Car parking at the hotel was very expensive.

the attitude of the staff was so horrid, nothing was explained properly and the were unhelpful, i would never stay here again or recommend the hotel.

Small room, poor breakfast buffet (at least for non-local), needed an extra hour for check out and wanted to charge me for that

Glass door on bathroom dangerous for elderly/infirm. Paucity of toiletries and towels.Lack of bedside clock.

Excellent standard of room and facilities. Nice welcome, good breakfast with fresh options different and better than most hotels

Price was more due to six nations rugby but then so was every where

Everything over the weekend was prefect the only thing that spoilt the comfort was the quality of the pillows which was poor
